ESMC 2025 in Lyon, France

From July 7th to 11th, the 12th European Solid Mechanics Conference (ESMC) took place at Lyon, France. Sebastian Pfaller was invited to give a keynote presentation within Minisymposium 1.6 “Mechanics of Polymers” organised by Florian Arbeiter, Jean-Luc Bouvard, and Julie Diani. His talk on “Modelling and simulations of polymers across scales and methods” was attended by a remarkably large audience and stimulated various follow-up discussion. Sebastian thanks the organisers for giving him the opportunity to present the activities of the Capriccio group in this extended format.
