Jolan Thierry’s research internship
Jolan Thierry from ENS Rennes visited the Capriccio group for two months as part of a research internship. Jolan explored the capabilities of atomistic simulations of tropocollagen molecules in water as a basis for future studies of collagen fibrils and fibres. Among others, he consulted various publications on this topic and conducted molecular dynamics simulations on the clusters of the National High Performance Computing Center (NHR@FAU). Besides the scientific activities, we also found some time to explore Nuremberg and its surroundings.
