FRASCAL Semi-annual meeting

The PULS group and the Capriccio group concluded the year by their semi-annual meeting within the research training group “FRASCAL“. After a joint lunch with preparatory, informal discussions, Eva Maria Richter, Lukas Laubert, Felix Weber, and György Hantal presented their research activities and findings, which were jointly evaluated by the group members. In particular, Eva reported on her progress in large-scale MD simulations of thermoplastics, Felix on his latest results regarding silica glass fracture, Lukas on the characterisation of epoxy resins and development of evaluation tools, and György on the generation of epoxy systems and associated bond breakage studies. After this, all members defined the subsequent research goals until the next semi-annual meeting.
